How many dishes does any mistress need?
There are lots of different dishes ranging from simple everyday things to premium-class dishes. This article is intended to help you to manage with all this variety of shapes and not to encumber you kitchen with needless dishes.
Usually, the following are needed for three- of four-person household:

Two frying pans (24-28 cm) for simultaneous preparation of a main course (meat, fish) and a side dish.

In addition, there is a reason in having a small frying pan (20-22 cm) for reheating food and sautéing vegetables.

A stewpan and/or a roaster (22-26 cm) for stewing and roasting of multi-layer meals.

One large saucepan (3,5-4,5 l) for soups and pasta.

A small saucepan or bailer (2-2.5 l) for cooking eggs, cereals for children etc.

Low-edge baking sheet for pies and patty-cakes.

High-edge baking sheet for casseroles, lasagna etc.

Crepe maker. No comments: too many people like the Pancake Week (Russian equivalent of Carnival) after a long winter…
This is a principal set. In case if you like exotic unusual meals, then, add to your collection of dishes the following things:

A cauldron for pilaf, haricot etc.

A deep roaster for preparation of poultry.

A grill pan for frying meat & fish.

A wok pan for exotic Eastern meals.
