“Demidovsky plant” CJSC is an enterprise with rich history, which appeared in the first years after the end of Second World War, when the Country’s restitution was the most important. Experience, production technologies and quality traditions of a defense enterprise are the undisputed advantages of the plant and its production.

  • In 1947, at Kamensk-Uralsky metallurgical plant, a facility producing consumer goods has been open, №7 “Kamensk-Uralsky Metallurgical Plant” JSC. In the postwar years, the defense-oriented mother plant has established aluminum dishes production.
  • In 1982, this enterprise was one among the first in Russia to start production of dishes with anti-adherent coatings. A Dutch line “Ferro” for spray application of coatings was put into operation. At the same time, they had started using Teflon® coating by DuPont.
  • In 2001, the plant was the first among Russian enterprises to get recurrent licenses for use of anti-adherent coatings by DuPont (Teflon®Classic) and Akzo Nobel (Scandia).
  • In 2002, a large amount was invested into purchase of a new production line of dishes with anti-adherent coating by roll-on method, which was a starting point of realization of the first Russian national dish brand SCOVO®.
  • December 1, 2003, Scovo™ trade mark has been registered.

It can be compared with leading European manufacturers due to high-level equipment and high productiveness. Wide spectrum of used technologies of application of anti-adherent coatings and interesting alterative production design are undeniable advantages of “SCOVO” plant.
 
  • June 23, 2005 — a solemn ceremony of the first stone laying into the foundations of “SCOVO” plant.
  • In October 2006, a new “SCOVO” plant producing aluminum dishes with anti-adherent coating was brought into exploitation. A new plant is highly-automated and uses high technologies, a number of employees is close to 200 persons. Among the suppliers of raw materials for the plant, there are three leading Russian manufacturers of aluminum semi-finished products: Kamensk-Uralsky metallurgical plant, Samara metallurgical plant and Stupino metallurgical plant. At “SCOVO” plant, a quality management system ISO 9001:2000 and eco-management system ISO 14001 are adopted.
